Like I said on my previous post about elf studio brushes, I'm getting the brush set. And I am loving it! These brushes are unbelievable! They're super soft, sleek design which is all black, and also very sturdy. The set contains 11 brushes, all synthetic. Some of them I already bought separately, but I don't mind having 2, it is that great.

The 11 brushes are:
Complexion brush: Big fluffy brush to apply powders, blushes, or bronzers all over the face.

Powder brush: Flat top brush to apply powder, blushes, bronzers, or contour. Some people love to use this to apply cream or liquid foundations.

Angled foundation brush: The angle makes it easy to apply foundation in hard-to-reach places, like under the eyes and around the nose.

Fan brush: I never like this type of brush, I kinda think it's useless. Except if it's thicker. This one is too thin so I can't figure out a way to use this for anything. It was meant to be used to wipe away any eyeshadow fallout under the eyes, but I think it's too thin to be able to do that.

Blush brush: To apply blushes, bronzers, or powders. But I use this a lot to set the concealer with powder under the eyes. It works wonderful. The size is perfect for that.
Concealer brush: To apply concealer, primer, or eyeshadow. I use this to apply eyeshadow only. Love it.

Contour brush: Domed small brush for applying eyeshadow to add more depth on the crease. Also to blend the eyeshadow.

Eyeshadow "C" brush: To apply eyeshadow on the outer corner of the eyes. Perfect if you want to create a smokey eyes. It can be used to blend also.

Small precision brush: To apply concealer on specific areas, to apply lipsticks, lipglosses, eyeliners, or to create definition under the eyes. Definitely a must-have.

small precision brush |
Small smudge brush: To smudge eyeliner or eyeshadow for a smokey eye look. It's a bit smaller and thinner than the precision brush, that's why it's perfect for blending eyeliner.

Small angled brush: Every women need at least one of these. It helps create an even, thin, and straight lines. It can be used to apply eyeliner if you want to get a cat-eye or a flick, which most of us struggle with, and of course to color the eyebrows. Try to find the thinnest one available for this type of brush. The thinner the better.

You can get each one of these brushes separately, the set is just a cheaper way to buy. I highly recommend this product, especially if you're a beginner or on a budget.
